Some Snow and a Party!

Hi, everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. Ours was good, but pretty busy!

This is the snow we woke up to yesterday morning...not much, but it is snow! :)




We had Katie's birthday party yesterday afternoon at the church. Katie's the one on the right with her hands on her head. She was trying to give directions for the 'Pop 'n Run' balloon game, but the kids wouldn't be quiet. She looks a wee bit frustrated, don't you think? LOL! I have many of those moments myself working with kids all day! That's my husband in the black sweater. He stepped in to help her out! :)

She had a friend spend the night Saturday, so they made the cupcakes...yummy chocolate with cream cheese icing to keep with the whole black and white theme she wanted. :)


I thought this picture was too funny. Katie made up a little 'How well do you know me?' quiz for the kids to fill out. Poor Jerry there in the middle, all deep in thought. It looks like he's thinking, "What?! I thought this was a party. I didn't know there was going to be a quiz!" :)

The kids all had a good time, and I guess it's good that we didn't get a lot of snow, or we would have had to cancel her party, and that would have been sad.


Last but not least, Tanya got to go home from the hospital last week! She will have another CT scan in three weeks to see how well the cancer treatments worked, but for now she is home. We're praying for good test results and that there won't be any cancer. Please continue to pray for her and her family. It's been a rough couple of months for them.
