This is what my husband spoke about in our school's chapel this morning.
People have been asking this question for years.
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
-II Peter 3:3-4
Yes, one day He will return.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
-I Thessalonians 4:16-17
But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
-Mark 13:32-33
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
-Matthew 25:13
I'm looking forward to that day.
I hope you're all having a great week.

He is definitely coming back and I feel for the scoffers. It's so important that we remain ready! I enjoyed the video, but it scared me a bit when the thunder crashed and everyone disappeared. LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat post Melanie,
Lisa
Has he ever really been gone? Do we really know....we just have to live our lives accordingly and do the best we can...there are always so many questions regarding this....I try hard not to think too deep, it can drive you crazy the not knowing!!~ Great post!
ReplyDeleteHey Melanie!
ReplyDeleteYes, Jesus is going to come back! My mom keeps telling me it is going to be sooner than we think.
Hugs,
Angela
Jesus is coming back because he said he would and he ALWAYS keeps his word :)
ReplyDeletebut I'm not sure if it will be in our time, but when it is, it will be the right time because His time is always the right time :)

I just was talking to someone (my Chiropractor) yesterday... about all the political mess going on and how it's affecting us all, in so many ways. Particularly him as a Dr. and in healthcare.
ReplyDeleteI meant it with all my heart, when I said,
He {Jesus} can't come soon enough!
Yes He is alive and is returning for us! And what a glorious day it will be!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit to my blog, please come back soon!
Have a blessed week!
