Summer vacation is finally here! :)
The past couple of weeks have been very busy, but since our church has a Christian school, that is to be expected!
In addition to all of the end-of-the-year school events, our youth leader got married on Saturday. So, needless to say, I am ready for a break!
When my husband was talking to the Kindergartners before their graduation on Thursday, one of the little boys came up to him and said, "Pastor, I like your smell! I like to wear 'cologny' too."
Too cute!
Now that school's out, we can visit our families. We haven't seen them since Christmas. We're looking forward to it! :)
Hope you all will have a great week!
Melanie
Hi, Melanie~
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are on summer break now. We still have about 2 weeks to go. I'm waiting to get Kiddo's testing so we can truly be finished for this year.
I have to say, the first thing I noticed was your new background. I just LOVE IT! It is very country! :> )
Have a great day, my friend!
Blessings~

I like your changes, as well. As you've noticed I've been on the change-it-up blog bandwagon, too.

ReplyDeleteMel, I know I cant wait to fill up the bassinet with our blessing:) Hope you have the best summer. That was cute the "cologny" remark:)
ReplyDeleteLike your new blog look, I have switched mine from time to time. There are not alot I have seen in my colors (Pink-Brown) that I like. Love the home sweet home pic. Have a great day. Blessings,
Hi Melanie~that is good news that you are on summer break! I was not sure if you homeschooled or not. It must be nice to have a Christian School near you. I see that your husband is a Pastor so do you teach at the Christian School? I am homeschooling my children now but my 9year old girl wants to go to school. She has never been. We went to see the public school near us for 4th grade. It goes up to 5th grade. It was really nice but no Christianity! So, she is going to give it a try and if she does not like it we will continue homeschooling which I love to do with her and my older one. I am saying so much here! God bless and have a wonderful evening, Rose
