Teen Challenge

We had a wonderful church service this morning!

Our local Teen Challenge director was our guest. For those of you not familiar with Teen Challenge, it is a Christian organization that helps people with drug and alcohol addictions.

I always look forward to them being our guests. The director usually brings along a few of the people in the program so they can give their testimonies. It is truly awesome to see how God is miraculously and completely changing their lives.

Their website is teenchallengeusa.com.

Hope you all are having a great Sunday. I'm going to get off of here now, and go enjoy the great weather we're having today! :)

  1. Melanie, Thanks for sharing about teen challenge. I had a good friend who credits the Lord using Teen Challenge to save her life. She was headed down a BAD path, and her mom didn't know what else to do with her. I don't think there was much other family support. God is alive and well and Teen Challenge seems to know it!!

  2. Teen Challenge indeed does great work! Whenever I hear their testimonies or from Celebrate Recovery testimonies, I'm always in tears at how our Lord works

I do hope you enjoyed your day!!

  3. Melanie this is a wonderful organization. Although, I do not at this time know of teens on drugs and alcohol, I do know adults who struggle. In fact, I have a very dear friend in the process of getting admitted to a rehab center. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers, she needs all the support she can get:)

  4. I have never heard of Teen Challenge but I am thankful that there is an organization like it for troubled teens. Blessings to you for showing God's love through it.

  5. Teen Challenge turned my sons life around. He started to be friends with other lonely kids who used drugs.
When he made a decision to stop he went to TC.
Today he is a really wonderful young man with a purpose. He is studying at Bible College and living in a christian community.
God Bless Teen Challenge. They do a wonderful work.

  6. I failed to say Melanie, that he was always a wonderful young man. Just very lost, lonely and confused. I am so glad that through that time Our Lord, stayed with me (and Him) and bought us both through a very difficult time. Praise Him!
