Prayer Request

I'd like to ask for you to please pray for my husband. He was hurting last week and finally Saturday night we had to take him to the emergency room because he was in so much pain. His CT scan showed that he has a kidney stone. Please pray that he will pass it soon!
The difficult times we go through make us appreciate the good times even more, don't you think?
Thank you for your prayers, and I hope you all are having a good week.

Melanie

  1. Sending prayers for your husband! Seems like kidney stones are a big problem lately with a lot of different people. Makes you wonder what causes those things!

  2. Dear Melanie,
I will certainly pray. After my 2nd son was born I had a kidney stone and was hospitalized. They are very, very painful.. I am so sorry. May the Lord be with you all and give your husband strength.

  4. Melanie, I will add him to my prayer list. My daughter had the same thing happen. She tried for the longest time to pass the stone, finally she had surgery to remove it. I posted pics awhile back about it and showed a pic of her stone too. Praying for his comfort and that it passes soon and he is not in pain. Thoughts and prayers.

  6. Oh Melanie I feel so bad for you husband. I have had kidney stones so many times. Did they tell him to take some aspirin?
I used to get them all the time and then one Christmas day while i was cooking dinner my husband had to rush me to the emergency room. I got so sick, oh gosh, but the Doctor there told me whenI feel the pain of a kidney stone coming on to take a aspirin and now I always do and I have not had to go to the hospital since. Now I don't know how that passes the stone, but it has worked every time for me since 2004.
I don't know if they have him on any pain meds, but if he is not then he should try the aspirin it can't hurt.
You tell him from one fellow Kidney stoner I will be praying for him to pass this stone of for it to break up and go away. Far far away, in the name of Jesus may your honey be healed, by his stripes we are healed. Big hugs
