Pray for Jordan

I have a sweet blogging friend,
Marcia (some of you may know her already),
whose nephew, Jordan,
was severely injured in Afghanistan recently.
Click here to read her initial story about him.
Right now, he is in Bethesda, Maryland.
If you would like to send him a card,
click here to get his address.

Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
I know they would appreciate it.

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
-Galatians 6:2

I hope you all will have a great week.

Take care,

  1. Such a very young man!! My prayers will be with him.

  2. Have put him on our prayer chain, hundreds of people in South Africa will be praying for him soon. We serve an almighty God.

  3. thanks for letting us know, Melanie; I got his address, will send a card this week and keep him in my prayers

  4. My prayers will be with him and his family. Hope you have a good week. Trish

  5. Thank you so much for sharing this Melanie. I know he's going to be so encouraged by the card and notes he receives :-)

  6. Good Morning Melanie,

How wonderful for you to share this with your readers...a true ministry of reaching out to others...may God continue to richly bless your humble heart!

I visited Marcia's blog and got the address...we will send off a card well as pray for Jordan's continued recovery and for God's will in his life. Times like these show us how fragile life is...there is not a day to be wasted.

Hope you are all having wonderful week, my friend,

  7. My prayers are with him and his family!

  8. Good Evening Mrs. Melanie,

Please know that my prayers are with Jordan and his family. Tragedies really show us that life is so fragile and that we need to be right with our Lord. It is wonderful that we can pray for him, even if we have never met him and/or live thousands of miles away.

  9. Hi Melanie, thank you for getting word out on this...we will do, pray and wish for the very best for this fine young Man.

  10. Joining you in prayer for Jordan. May the Lord bless and strengthen this young man who has freely given of himself for our country.

  11. Good Morning Mel. Hey dont forget about my give away. Drawing is Monday :)

  12. Sending prayers his way. Thank you for sharing!!

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. I enjoy hearing from you. :-)
