Psalm 103:2

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.

It's so important to pause
and make a conscious effort to be thankful.
Take nothing for granted.

I pray you all will have a week filled with many blessings. :)

  6. I love the Psalms; always so comforting to read them. Praise the Lord oh my soul (my very being)
and forget not his benefits (every single blessing he gives us; every single breath we take, it all comes from him!). It is always good to remember to give thanks for all he is and all he gives!

I hope you have a good week ahead too, Meelanie!

Thank you for sharing this Psalm. I love the Psalms...there is just so much reverence for the Lord in them. May we always take time to praise the Lord for all the wonderful things He does for us daily.

I pray that you and your family have a wonderful week together.

    God Bless,

  9. Yes Melanie, He has given us so much. We need to thank Him always. Not just when things are going good--Thank Him for standing beside us and guiding us when we are struggling! My prayer for you is that the Lord Bless you and and your family in a special way!

  11. So True Melanie, I got tears in my eyes when I read this as our country struggles to do what is right.

I hate summer also, I just thought the proverb fitted for the month of August. We've had a mild summer in Northern CA this year. San Francisco is even cooler. I wish I had their weather, but they can keep SF! not some place I like to go that often. Have a great week! big hugs
